Our time in this state is coming to a close. It is back to the Northwest for us, where the hiking trails around town lack poisonous snakes, and drawers and closets do not have to be checked for Brownback spiders in the summer.
No tornados, either.
No more 110 degree summer days. When we arrived last summer we learned that people pretty much stay inside during July and August.
Maybe dealing with these things are (in part) why the people of this state are so strong, and so full of common sense. I don’t know.
The year has been a whirlwind. The 12 Step religion and contemplative spirituality have continued to advance. People are flat out tired of being warned, and some watchmen are tired of always warning.
Holy is the Lord.
